The Twilight Sad – DESIGNED TO LOSE

‘Designed to Lose’ is the second taste of the forthcoming album from the Scottish duo. It follows previous track ‘Waiting for the Phone Call’ which featured The Cure’s Robert Smith on guitar. The band has opened for the Cure on many previous occasions and Smith has spoken very highly of them in the past. The two bands share many similarities, goth tinged post-punk, haunting and sometimes ghostly guitars, and charmingly unconventional vocals that are undeniably their own. The band’s first album in six years is expected to release sometime early this year.
